Statement Regarding Death Reports About Clinicexpert
In recent days, particularly in the British press, foreign media, and on social media, there have been comments and reports concerning the loss of one of our patients. These remarks have deeply saddened us. We feel it is our duty to inform our valued patients and provide clarity on this matter.
First and foremost, we are deeply sorry for the loss of our patient. Please know that we are following the matter with great sensitivity and will continue to offer every possible support in this regard.
The “Clinicexpert” brand has held a respected position in health tourism for over 14 years. We strive to ensure the safety of our patients and provide health services with the highest level of satisfaction.
False Allegations and Defamation
Circulating online are unfounded allegations about the loss of our patient, which have been spread and amplified, leading to false and defamatory remarks aimed at tarnishing our reputation. We are extremely disturbed by these baseless claims and strongly deny them.
At Clinicexpert, we have always prioritized safe and reliable healthcare services by working with expert physicians. In addition to our own in-house medical staff, we occasionally contract external doctors as operating room specialists. The surgeon involved in this unfortunate case was one of these contracted external physicians, referred to as a “freelance doctor.”
While this surgeon is a specialist plastic surgeon, we believe it is unjust to hold the entire clinic and all our doctors accountable for a single tragic incident. We kindly ask for fair treatment and objectivity before making comments or judgments about our institution.
Legal and Medical Clarifications
This matter is still under investigation by judicial authorities. The forensic medical examination has found no malpractice by either the surgeon or the healthcare facility. Furthermore, the baseless allegations of “organ trafficking” have been categorically disproven.
For example, reports in the British press claimed that the patient’s brain, heart, and other organs were partially missing. However, these claims are scientifically and medically implausible:
- Brain transplants are not currently possible anywhere in the world.
- Partial heart transplants are not viable, as the entire organ is required for transplantation.
Thus, the organ trafficking claim is self-contradictory and completely baseless.
Following the patient’s passing, as required by legal procedures, the body was sent to the **Turkish Forensic Medicine Institution** to determine the cause of death. During the autopsy, routine examinations were conducted, and samples may have been taken from the organs for analysis. However, as confirmed by the autopsy report, the patient’s body left our facility intact, with no harm or damage to their organs.
The organ theft allegations are entirely false, sensationalized with misinformation, and do not reflect the truth. We present these clarifications for your understanding and to ensure a fair assessment of the situation.
Sincerely,
Clinicexpert Team
